What you will be doing
We are looking for a Junior Product Owner with real-world experience. You’ll work closely with our Product Managers and lead your own projects.
Play a key role in developing our products for secure digital communication, used by 25% of Germany's top 100 companies, critical infrastructure organizations, and small businesses.
- Support product managers with daily tasks and lead small projects
- Participate in Scrum meetings with our developers and contribute to the discussions
- Draft user stories and prepare software bug issues
- Create mockups for new product features and UI/UX improvements
- Conduct research on markets, technology, and regulations to guide product development (in German language)
- Maintain and update the demo and test systems
- Help with release management (release schedules, release notes, stakeholder updates)
- Support with creating demo and learning videos (storytelling, screen recordings)
- Review our products and manuals to provide feedback for improvement
What we value in our candidates
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience as a product owner/manager in an agile development environment (bootcamp projects don't qualify)
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and writing user stories
- Experience in creating mockups using Adobe XD or Figma
- Very good communication skills in German and English (both at least B1, one at C1/2 level)
- You’re open to learning new things and new ways of doing things, and you’re comfortable with changing environments
- Nice to have: knowledge of a programming language; familiarity with Linux CLI
